Discover & Quote
The transaction begins with transparent market access and anonymous pricing:

For Buyers
Initiate a private reverse auction by tendering your exact supply need (quantity, product, destination). Sellers submit competitive quotes that automatically include freight to your bin yard.

For Sellers
Post bulk commodity positions with free offers to discover demand outside your local territory, or respond to farm tenders with a firm, all-inclusive delivered price.

Outcome
- The buyer selects the best quote.
- The seller acquires new customers at the lowest cost.
Contract & Security
Once a deal is agreed upon, both parties secure the transaction:

E-Contracting
Both counterparties (buyer and seller) execute the binding agreement directly through the platform using the embedded DocuSign process.

Verified Payment
The buyer submits payment, which is held safely and transparently in a regulated trust account. ClearCost serves as the payment facilitator.

Logistics Hand-Off
ClearCost confirms all necessary logistics requirements (freight forwarding, customs, importer of record, etc.) are in place.
Track & Confirm
The physical delivery process is tracked in real-time, providing comprehensive visibility:

Multi-Modal Tracking
Cargo is tracked from manufacturer to the final destination, updating milestones for ships, rail, and dry/wet ports in real-time.

Last-Mile Visibility
Last-mile trucking is GPS-tracked and visible on the ClearCost app, allowing the farm to watch the delivery location in real-time.

Document Access
Trade and quality documents become viewable within the app as they are generated.
Settlement & Assurance
Final delivery and payment release are confirmed through a secure, multi-party process:

Delivery Confirmation
The seller, buyer, and trucker must all confirm delivery and receipt through the app, verifying the waybill details.
Dispute Protocol

Quantity
If a quantity discrepancy is found against the original contract, an automatic cash refund is triggered from the trust account.

Quality
If a quality issue is raised, a mandatory third-party inspection is initiated.

Payment Release
Funds are released from the regulated trust account to the seller only upon the buyer confirming all agreed-upon terms are met.
